Coach Horvath (Donnan) was born and raised in Houston, TX where she attended Memorial High School and was a 4-year letterman, captain and MVP in 2010 and 2012. Horvath was a 3-time First Team All-District selection, i10 Shootout Outstanding Player (2010) and All-Region selection. 


Coach Horvath played soccer for Trinity University in San Antonio where she graduated with her BA in Psychology. At Trinity, Horvath played holding center mid, was a captain, an All-American (First Team) and an Academic All-American (First Team). During her sophomore year, when she was named the SCAC Conference Tournament MVP, the Trinity Women's Soccer team were runners-up in the NCAA DIII National Championship. 


After graduating, Horvath worked as an assistant coach for Trinity University Women's Soccer. She then earned her M.Ed. from the University of Texas at Austin. This will be Horvath's 5th year coaching at Anderson, her 4th year as the Head Coach and her 4th year teaching SCORES (Special Ed) at Anderson. In her 3 seasons as the Head Coach, Horvath has led the Trojans to two District Championships and three playoff runs. This past season, Horvath led the Trojans to first place in District 26-6A and set program history with their first 6A playoff win, continuing on to the 6A Regional Quarterfinals.

Tyler Carpenter

Girls Assistant Varsity Coach

Coach Carpenter was born and raised in San Diego, CA where he attended Rancho Bernardo High School and was a 2-year letterman, a captain, District Champion, 1stTeam All-District Forward and leading goal scorer.


Coach Carpenter went on to play soccer for the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton where he graduated with a BA in marketing and an MBA. At UMHB, Carpenter played winger, was a two-time ASC champion, Academic All-Conference, and was elected as a Leadership Team member.


After graduating, Carpenter pursued a brief career in marketing before being hired as the Program Creation Consultant/Inaugural Head Boys Varsity Soccer Coach for North Central Texas Academy in Granbury, TX. He then moved to Georgetown, TX and became the Assistant Varsity/Head Junior Varsity Girls Soccer Coach at East View High School. During his one season there, the East View Girls Soccer program completed their most successful campaign in school history. The JV team improved from a one-win season the previous year to setting the school record for single season wins. The varsity team also saw success, setting the school record for district wins, earning a right to host a playoff game for the first time in school history. Last year, Carpenter helped the Trojans to first place in District 26-6A and set program history with their first 6A playoff win, continuing on to the 6A Regional Quarterfinals. 


This will be Carpenter's second year teaching at Anderson as a Math teacher and Anderson Girls Soccer Coach.

Joshua Stark

Girls Assistant/JV Coach

Coach Stark was born in McKinney, TX and raised in Hays, KS where he attended Thomas More Prep-Marian High School. During his time there he played goalie and was a 4-year letterman in soccer and was a captain from 2015-2016. Coach Stark later went on to Fort Hays State University where he graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and his Bachelor of Arts in Education. This is Coach Stark's 4th year coaching and teaching at Anderson! Coach Stark regularly works with our JV teams and is our goalkeeper coach. Coach Stark has been instrumental in the ongoing success of Anderson Girls Soccer, including our historical playoff run this last season.

Emma Everts

Volunteer Assistant Coach


Coach Everts was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. In 2015, she relocated with her family to Chicago, Illinois, and attended Maine South High School for her initial two years of secondary education. In 2017, she moved to Parker, Colorado, where she completed her high school education at Ponderosa High School. Throughout her high school career, Everts distinguished herself as a four-year letterman and served as captain for two years. She earned recognition as a member of the 2018 Second-Team All-District, the 2019 First-Team All-District, and was selected for the Academic All-District Team all four years.

 

Everts continued her athletic career at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, focusing on Marketing and Management, along with a Minor in Sports Management. During her time at Trinity, she played various midfield positions, including holding center mid, attacking mid, and outside mid. Everts was honored three times on the SCAC Academic Honor Roll and received All-SCAC Team accolades twice. In 2023, she was named to the SCAC All-Tournament team and the SCAC Academic All-District team, and she also received the SCAC Tournament Offensive MVP award, as well as the Strength & Conditioning Student-Athlete of the Month recognition. Additionally, she was a three-time recipient of the Trinity University Dean's List.

 

Following her graduation, Everts took on the position of District Sales Manager for Frito-Lay (PepsiCo) in Austin, Texas. This year marks her inaugural season as an assistant coach for Anderson High School Girls Soccer.
